Vintage 1940s Dress RAINBOW ABSTRACT Printed Cotton Sun Dress

Fantastic modernist printed sun dress circa 1940's. Turquoise green, sky blue, lemon yellow, right red, charcoal, and white painterly abstract geometric textile, with a bit of a cubist feel. Thick, crisp, woven cotton fabric. Fitted sleeveless bodice with little dip along the collar at the nape of the neck. Cinched back-tie waist sash. Gathered A line skirt with front patch pockets. Metal side zip closure. Zipper stamped WICO. Beautiful overall appearance. A bit of wear along collar, and repairs made under arms and just above waistband.
