Vintage 1940s Hazel Atlas Platonite Milk Glass Harvest Grapes Dish - Mid-Century

This gorgeous Hazel Atlas textured platonite milk glass dish is shaped like grapes. Platonite is an opaque white glass that Hazel Atlas had been using in their kitchenware since the early 1930's. Hazel Atlas again striving to set themselves apart from the crowd, formulated and produced a semi-opaque white glass reminiscent of the Victorian period milkglass produced some 50 years earlier by various glass houses. Display this original mid-century piece as a decorative accent or use it to serve candies in style. Condition: In good vintage wcondition with light wear and 2-3 small fleabites around the edges, which are hardly noticeable. No chips or cracks, see pictures for more details.
