Vintage 1950s 2pc WIGGLE SUIT Boned Strapless Dress & Jacket

Sensational Mid Century / Aromic Era 1950s cocktail suit dress. Flinestones quality to the abstract stone-textured print, which pulls in the solid olive green of the dress bodice and trim on the jacket. Fitted strapless wiggle dress with metal side zip closure. This dress takes assistance to get in and out of, (over the head,) as it is so fitted. Middi length wiggle dress with accordion pleated side vents on the skirt. Bodice has sweetheart cut neckline, boning, and a decorative appliqué panel panel with glowing lime green lucite buttons. Modern, sculptural jacket: asymmetrical cut with standing funnel collar, 3/4 Doman sleeve, and peplum to create an hourglass silhouette. Good overall appearance and condition with a few minor cosmetic flaws. Some faint discoloration along the edges of the olive trim, back on the neck inside the jacket, and one right rust mark to the bottom right front side of the jacket. Refer to images.
