Vintage 1950’s Breton Butter Crock handmade in Du Berry, France

Keeping butter at room temperature without it spoiling is now possible with our Breton butter dish. This handmade porcelain dish is a must-have for any kitchen. Diameter approximately 3 1/2 in Handmade in Du Berry, France. How to use: Place the butter in the lid using a wooden spoon. Fill the container with fresh water and add a pinch of salt, making sure the butter is completely submerged. Put the lid back on the container. Change the water every 3 days (daily during the summer) depending on the temperature.
