Background:
The Milan Triennali is an international design competition that was established in 1930. It had quite an interesting and at times rocky history, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s. It was they competition to participate in, and was seen as a very significant influence on the design world. After 1968 it's significance quickly degraded due to a variety of outside influences and the changing international markets.
