Vintage 1950s MCM Picquot Ware England Coffee Pot Retro Cottagecore

A 1950’s/60’s MCM Picquot Ware Coffee Pot designed by Jean Picquot and made by craftsmen in Northampton, England. Beautiful curved stylish wooden handle and lid finial are made from sycamore wood. Cast in one piece to avoid leaks from Magnailium, a silver coloured alloy exclusive to Piquot Ware, it is polished - not plated - and has a mirror like finish. Distinctive design because of the ridge, like a skirt, between the base of handle and beginning of the spout. A highly sought after and collectible design.
