Vintage 1950's Organ Grinder and Monkey salt and pepper shakers, Shafford hand

...painted ceramic made in Japan. Hard to find shaker set The cutest salt and pepper set, the organ grinder and his pet monkey were made by Shafford, Japan. Marked underneath "Shafford" on the organ player. The monkey has a little recess on the organ and he fits well. Both are in great vintage condition with wooden stoppers and only minimal wear to the hand painted surface. They stand ca 4-3/4 inches tall (12 cm)
