Vintage 1950s Ronson Varaflame Silver Tone Oval Table Lighter 3. 1/2"W, As Is

This elegant silver-plated lighter from the mid-20th century features an elongated, oval shape with a pearl-like beading around the top edge and gadroon decoration on a waisted base.  Functionality: the Varaflame version (often confused with the Queen Anne) were among the first gas, variable flame lighters.  Highly collectible among collectors, it is around 3. 1/2" wide. includes small booklet in several languages. also a BIRKS pouch included. although it has like new aesthetics, the shooter seems blocked, and I can not verify if is working or not.
