Vintage 1950s US military Trench coat - dated 1951 - removable wool liner olive

Amazing extremely functional jacket, perfect for fall, winter and spring. Inner 100% wool lining can be removed. Wool is has jacket lining so it’s not scratchy. Many examples of hidden features throughout the coat. Massive pockets that probably once acted like holsters. Collar can be worn many ways, depending on the severity of the weather. Same thing with the sleeve opening that can be cinched with the second button. Buttons on the front to stop the jacket for billowing in the wind. Side pockets also double as pant pocket access through an opening in both jacket and wool liner. Almost the exact jacket used during WWII Regular small this fits perfect on 140lbs 5’ 11” Jacket with liner weight 2.5kgs so that should give you an idea of the quality. Hard to beat 1950s quality.
