Vintage 1950s Union Made Satin Cocktail Dress Gown S

Vintage 1950s heavy satin cocktail dress, appears purple or royal blue depending on the light. Wide neckline with scoop back, short cap sleeves, intricate bust detail with bow, pleated full skirt, below-knee length. Bodice is unlined, skirt is canvas-backed with an included, detachable crinoline. Back zip closure. Excellent condition with what looks like a water mark on the skirt (see photo) that is not too noticeable. Union made, vintage tag size 12, will best fit a modern size S or 6 depending on your specific measurements. Flat lay measurements: 18" pit to pit with room for fuller bust (36-38" bust), 13" across waist (25-26" waist, max), open hips, 41" length from shoulder to bottom hem.
