Vintage 1950s Wedgwood Porcelain+ Sterling Brooch pin

AS IS but absolutely beautiful Vintage 1950s large oval vintage blue and white Wedgwood porcelain brooch pin with sterling silver setting. Lovely Neoclassical design, but this piece is likely from the 1950s based on style of back stamp. approx 1 5/8" wide by 2 1/8" high including silver setting. Condition: fair vintage condition. There is a chip out of the very top of the porcelain lozenge just under the setting in front and a black mark just below the chip that I could not remove (see photos). There are also a couple of other dark smudges on back + there are are also some scratches + uneven areas (intrinsic to the pottery material). The pin is slightly bent but still fastens. I polished the metal as best as I could, but a bit of burnishing remains on the back setting. On the front, there is also a slight unevenness to the porcelain particularly on the front bottom centre (manufacturer's flaw) that may read as a crack in photos, but from closely examining the piece under a loup, that is not the case. Otherwise, the piece presents rather well when worn. This beautiful brooch would look lovely as a brooch of course, but could also be repurposed as a hair accessory for a wedding or as an eye catching hat decoration.
