Vintage 1950s - trench coat All Weather Storm King made in Toronto - Roxton

Really cool jacket with a beautiful silky contrast lining that goes all the way through the sleeves as well. The actual trench material is a very lightly faded heavy navy twill that is rain repellant. No washing instructions in sight (placing this pre-1971) and the label is very reminiscent of 1950s style labels. Really unique and cool that the jacket was made in Toronto by a Toronto company. Some extremely cool coloured buttons, and a 50s seeming collar this jacket is asymmetrical in all the right ways. Overall not too heavy and with big pockets, this trench differs from the norm by covering the big buttons (also reducing the risk of snagging.) Much more casual and stylish than the trenches with epaulettes and other military features. Measures: 22” chest 19” shoulders 23” sleeves 39” length
