Vintage 1960 hand made leather duffel bag, patchwork chestnut brown leather

...weekender luggage, leather sport bag, globetrotter cabin bag A large leather weekender or sport bag ca 1960 - 1970s - it looks custom made by a company or individual. The leather pieces remind a lot of the 1960s-1970s leather patchwork pouffes or ottomans. It has one large middle compartment with a double "Ideal" zipper and small pocket on the outside, larger pockets at either end of the bag, shorter top carry handles held together with a leather and Velcro band. There is a strap that functions as a handle on either end of the bag, and it comes with the original *quite* home made shoulder strap. It looks to function well enough. The bag is unlined. This item would be perfect as a sport bag, large weekender or home storage. It is small enough for cabin baggage. When not in use, it could be filled with cushions/blankets/clothing, turned upside down, and used as an extra seat around the house. Condition: Overall in nice vintage condition with some marks of age and use. The leather is smooth and supple. There were a couple little cuts on the bottom of a side pocket, which have been patched (see images). Size: ca 21 x 11.5 x 12 inches (54 x 30 x 31 cm)
