Vintage 1960s GALANOS Red and Charcoal Grey Houndstooth Wool Jacket

Incredible vintage 1960s Galanos jacket! This red and charcoal grey houndstooth jacket is amazing. Wool, with red satin lining. The shoulders are quite structured and really hold that nice round shape. The buttons are set off centre, with a snap closure inside to hold the neck closed. Unbeatable tailoring, as to be expected from this great couturier. The nipped in waist cuts a flattering silhouette. Bracelet length sleeves. Very small pockets, but pockets nevertheless. The hem is weighted at either side. No size tag, please see the measurements for best fit. Vintage, very good condition overall. There is some red colour run-off on the label inside. The lining has some wear at the side seams where it may rub at the hips, and a wee pull above the label. Please see the photos for details. Otherwise excellent. Carefully cleaned and ready to wear!
