A bit of history:
The Nemi Strawberry Festival in Italy, known as "Sagra delle Fragole," is an annual event held in the town of Nemi, south of Rome, on the first Sunday of June. It celebrates the town's famous wild strawberries, known as "fragoline di bosco". The festival has a long history, evolving from ancient Roman traditions and moving to Nemi in 1922.
