Vintage 1960s Mod beehive hat, Mr Flemming Boutique Wild Hare felt fur

A true vintage Red and black mod hat by Mr Flemming Boutique, made from genuine Imported Wild Hare Feltfur, which makes the hat much more durable than sheep wool. This brimless piece is very eye-catching and has different ways it could be worn, such as rounded (Turban or beehive style) or flattened (beret style). The black lines over the red felt look like woven straw ands it has a little detailing to the top. There is a strap on the inside, likely to help it maintain a certain shape. It is in great condition with minor marks of age and use. The inside rim size is 53.5 cm Mr. Flemming was a Canadian retailer and designer who made hats for the wives of Prime Minister Pearson, Mayor Jean Drapeau, and Canadian pavilions of Expo 1967. His hats are in the McCord Museum.
