Vintage 1960s cookie jar, avocado green wise Owl, ceramic countertop storage

How fabulous? this vintage 1960s cookie jar, made in Japan, is a large Wise Owl, bearing reading glasses and a book. the lid makes the top of its head and graduation cap. Condition is excellent for its age: minor paint loss, a tiny chip at one edge of the cap and two small cracks at the rim. Please see pictures for accuracy.
