Vintage 1960's yellow mini dress Palazzo pants hostess ensemble

This is a hostess pant suit consisting of Palazzo pants and a mini dress top that can be worn separately, both in lemon yellow colored pleated semi-transparent chiffon-like fabric. The top is sleeveless and has a ruffled neckline. The pants are cut very wide. The fabric of the top is over an acetate lining while the pants have an acetate upper and the legs are unlined, so semi-transparent. The waist is decorated with a very unique trim as shown in the last photo. The top and pants both close with a nylon zipper. This outfit is in excellent vintage condition.
