Vintage ‘70 gondola wooden oar lock mounted used by a famous gondolier

Vintage Venetian gondola oar lock mounted on a wooden platform in 1970. Base is 8 1/2 inches square. Total height is 21 1/2 inches with the base approximately 3 inches of that height. A unique piece which would be difficult to replace
