A reproduction of the the original, Art Deco c1925 version by Dimitri H Chiparus, a renowned Romanian Art Deco sculptor, ( 1886-1947), most famous for his exquisitely detailed figurines on life, the ballet & the theatre. This large reproduction statue, standing at 15.5 inches tall, showcases the intricate craftsmanship and elegance of the Art Deco era. Inspired by the works of renowned artist Demetre Chiparus, this Goddess Douglas sculpture captures the essence of dance with its dynamic pose and detailed design. Made from a combination of wood and resin, this reproduction piece is a must-have for any fine art sculpture collector. Condition: Please note the piece is a bit wobbly due to the resin at the bottom, otherwise in good vintage condition with light wear, a few small scratches and a bit of golden paint loss, no chips or cracks, see pictures for more details.
