Charming vintage cookie jar shaped like a woven burlap sack with the words “Bag O’Cookies” embossed on the front. Made in Japan during the 1970s, this piece reflects the era’s playful, rustic kitchenware style. The jar is finished in a warm glossy brown glaze with molded texture resembling a tied fabric bag.
Stamped “Japan” on the bottom, it’s part of a popular wave of midcentury novelty kitchen ceramics exported from Japan to North America throughout the 1960s–1970s.
