Vintage 1970’s Gold Velvet Cape

I know it’s ‘70’s because I’ve owned it since 1974. Made by a professional seamstress back in the day. In great shape, considering. A few marks in the nap of the velvet here and there, 1 stain (last photo) This can be remedied with steam and a soft brush, most dry cleaners know the technique. Cream satin lining is also in lovely condition. The size fits like a medium, measured by the shoulder width, past that it can fit large too. 16” across the back at top shoulder seams, the length is 53”. A matching dress!! Unfortunately, found a stain toward the neckline front and center. Including the dress with the sale of you’d like it. Could be turned into a skirt, or matching bag to the cape. The dress is not considered in the listing price.
