Vintage 1970's Grannycore Floral Nightgown New in Package

This Soft Flannel Nightgown is Vintage New in its original Package. It is made in Singapore and the tag says machine washable. I acquired this fun and rare item as part of a group of ten pieces of sleepwear from an estate sale. There were two packaging slips in the box both dating from the early to mid 1970's. All the garments are similar in construction and I am confident they are all from the same time period. There are two of this particular nightgown. Both are extra large. I have taken it out of the package for photographing. It has been repackaged exactly as it was. Because it is nearly 50 years old it has acquired a vintage thrift shop scent. This will come out in the wash but I have chosen no to launder this in order to preserve its original condition perfectly. I mention this in the interests of full transparency. It is not overwhelming and will easily come out in the wash. The pattern is a pretty floral print on a soft and cosy flannel fabric. Ruffle detail on the collar and yolk.
