Vintage 1970's Pyrex Candle Holder, set of two

Vintage pair of Pyrex's The Un-Candle Plantation Candle Stick Set. Originally sold as a convenient candle-less solution using floating clear plastic wick holders and wicks. Water and vegetable oil were then added and the wick would absorb the oil for burning. Although this listing is for the shades and stands only, these would create a beautiful presentation with more modern actual floating candles or alternatively with tealight or votive candles. Each hurricane shade rests upon a 6" clear stand with a grippy plastic cap on the bottom for added security. Shades marked Pyrex Corning NY USA. Measures 12" in total height x 3 1/2" wide with a 4" wide base. Because of their handmade nature one of them has a slightly larger base and a bit taller by about a 1/4" each. Please note, the thinnest part of the shades are approx. 2 5/8" wide so any candle with a smaller diameter than that should fit inside.
