Sadler was a pottery manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent, England, that became known for producing teapots and other kitchenware. The Clover pattern features a rustic floral design with brown, yellow, and red flowers, and was produced in the 1970s. Items in this pattern were rated as oven-to-table, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Other pieces in the Clover pattern include teapots, sugar bowls, dinner plates, and casseroles.
Sadler pottery marks can be used to help date a piece, but a specific date can be difficult to determine as popular patterns ran for many years. The pottery was taken over by Churchill China in 2000.
