This authentic boho vintage suede jacket in size small (size 8) is the real deal! It was hand-beaded and bought from native Canadian Cree artisans near Mosakahiken Manitoba in the late 1970s.
It’s super hand-made quality, in great shape and the suede is very thick and soft, although it could use a professional clean as it has some light surface dirt due to its age. The lining has a little fading below the neck/ between shoulders, a little wear on the collar, but no armpit stains or tears. Otherwise it is in good condition considering its authentic vintage at approximately 50+ years old. As mentioned previously, it will need a dry cleaning. The only reason I haven't done it is because there are no professional leather cleaners in my area and I don't trust local dry cleaners sending it out!
Measurements are approximate within 1cm:
Shoulder - top of sleeve 54cm
Armpit sleeve approx 43cm
Armpit to armpit (48 cm x 2)
Bottom of jacket/ top of fringe 53cm (x2)

@posh_garage thank you for your response. I am absolutely in LOVE. Sadly my arms are 22.5 😭

@earthgirl21 that’s 57cm. So the sleeves are too short for you then?

@posh_garage yes, unfortunately. They are more like 16 inches. So it would be Capri length sleeves 🤔

How much did you purchase this for?

I didn’t. It’s a heritage piece and was bought decades ago directly by my grandmother from the artisan/s that made it. She had a small build, we are M/L and it’s too tight for us to wear. BUT I estimate even if she bought it in 1975 for $200-300 (which is a conservative estimate), that purchase in today’s market would value today at least $1100. It’s proper handmade vintage and not a cheap knock-off. She wore great clothing, never wore anything cheap. It could easily be a museum piece.
