1976 Commemorative hand held flag
Bennington Bicentennial American Revolutionary
Cotton on a wooden Dowel
Purchased at Woolworth’s Price Tag attached
This commemorative flag was sold at Woolworth’s (price tag still attached). It is a simple cotton printed flag attached to a wooden dowel with gold finial. The flag and the fact it was bought from Woolworth’s produces so much nostalgia for me.
Condition It is amazing condition. But remember, it is a simple hand held parade flag with production flaws as well being as almost 50 years old. It appears unused as evidenced by the attached price tag. It just sat in the back of a closet only being recently discovered. Please see pictures and ask any questions.
This is a perfect collectors item. Parade flags are highly collectible and this 1976 Bennington flag celebrating the 200 Anniversary of the American Revolution is no exception.
