Vintage 1980s Silk and Sequin Dress, Sz M

This is a sheer, slip dress from the 1980s, covered in a 1920s inspired design in beads and sequins. Handmade and beaded, this dress is a piece of art the base is silk and the sequins are gorgeous iridescent colours that change in the light. This is in excellent vintage condition, with only a few sequins missing and loose threads around edges of neck and one sleeve (see pics), which are luck item barely noticeable and very fixable. Bought this from a vintage dress consignment store MANY years ago for a 1920s inspired party and then didn’t even end up going 🫤 but haven’t wanted to part with it because it’s so beautiful. I think it’s time because someone needs to enjoy this dress. Please note that the silk is sheer and where there aren’t as many sequins it is see through so this dress is best over a cami or slip dress. Dress is listed as Medium, but please pay attention to measurements to ensure fit as the silk has limited stretch: 20” across bust, 19” at waist, 21.5” at hips. There is some stretch, but this is silk, not polyester. Length is 34” from bottom of V neck to hem and 44” from shoulder to hem. Sleeves are 3/4 length. Both sides are fully beaded. Beadwork on dress is in amazing condition. 9” slit on either side of dress.
