Classic 1985 Norman Rockwell Museum collector mug – “For a Good Boy” (also known as “The Ship Builder” or “Grandpa and Me” series).
This beloved scene shows a grandfather (the old sea captain) patiently helping his grandson finish a model sailing ship while the boy stands on tiptoe to watch. One of Rockwell’s most heart-warming grandfather-grandson images.
Features:
Official 1985 © The Norman Rockwell Museum, Inc. marking
Blue “Norman Rockwell Museum Seal of Authenticity” on the bottom
Gold rim top and bottom (22k gold banding)
Made of fine porcelain/china by an authorized Rockwell licensee
Height: 3¾" (9.5 cm) | Holds approx. 10–11 oz
