Vintage 1986 salt dough clowns. Handmade wall hangers.

This incredible pair of salt dough clowns are a fantastic example of home crafted folk art. Made from salt dough they are carved, moulded and painted in delightful detail. Each clown measures almost 14” tall and weighs 3lbs. They are signed “Terri ‘86” and have embedded wire loops for hanging. The detail from the hair, balloons, heart shaped patches and top hats are thoughtful and cute. They are in fantastic condition with the only damage appearing on the hair of the yellow clown - one ‘strand’ is cracks and crumbly. Perfect for and folk art collector, clown collector or craft collector.
