poshing_therapy Comment #1 of 2 - These shoes are true gems. Thomas Wallace was the last existing Canadian designer of high quality shoes. The few before him passed on many years before he did. His creations were also manufactured only in Canada. Upon Thomas Wallace's death in 2013 his company sadly closed. The quality of his creations was equal to those of Italian and Spanish manufacturers if not better. Cont'd next comment...

poshing_therapy Hi Violeta, My apologies. It just occurred to me that I may have come across as being critical about your listing yesterday which was not my intention. Whenever I see Thomas Wallace shoes I like to let people know about the great piece of Canadian history behind the name. 🙂 Back in the 80s and 90s the brand was my absolute favourite for wearing in the office.
