Vintage 3-Strand Lucite Pearl Necklace

This vintage necklace is stunning and comes to us from the 50s or 60s! It has three strands of graduated white faux pearls that meet at an adjustable hook clasp. The piece is accented by six AB crystals at the front. The pearls glow under black light but I don't believe they're real pearls. Based on my research, I believe these are lucite beads with a lustrous coating (though they may be another early acrylic base). The glow under UV is cool and even, the AB crystal beads refract (not fluoresce), and a lack of patchy/yellow spots show that the glow seen is coming from the core material, not just the coating. This is also consistent with the strands being knotted between each bead. They have minimal wear, certainly no issues affecting wearability.
