Vintage 50s Metallic Brocade Dress (I Magnin & Co)

Stunning vintage 1950s dress from I Magnin & Co., a San Francisco-based high fashion department store. It's in excellent condition, looking like it's only been worn once or twice. The brocade fabric is a woven metallic gold thread against a sheer and shimmery grey fabric. There's a boatneck at the front, and a lower v-neck in the back, and capped sleeves. There is a belt with the same fabric that ties at the back, and the inside is lined with a sheer grey fabric. The hem hits below the knee. The waist measures 28".
