Vintage 50s Pink Dusty Rose Party Dress Taffeta Tulle Floral Formal Prom 1950s

Absolutely beautiful 1950s party dress with delicate details. The material is a dusty rose colour, somewhere between pink and purple. The material (taffeta? i think) is printed with faint roses and leaves and it has a lovely sheen that catches the light. The fabric covered buttons are inlaid with rhinestones and they sparkle with the light as well. The folds at the top of the bodice looks like a bow or a butterfly, I love the effect. Acquired from a little old lady in a farmhouse who wore it in her youth. A special piece that is full of history. Flat measurements: Waist: 14" Chest: 17" Shoulder: 16" Length: 42" Best size estimate is xs/s In good condition overall considering it's age. There is some wear at the arm pits and a tear near the waist (see photos). and a couple small spots where material is thin (see last photo for example) There is also some wear to the belt, but I would swap it out for another 50s belt anyway if it fit me. Buttons are coming loose, a couple have fallen off but I still have them. Needs some TLC. There is a layer of tulle or crinoline underneath the skirt, but I think adding a petticoat would make it even more full and bouncy. Amazing collectors piece, still very wearable.
