Vintage 50s Purple Blue Velvet Pillbox Beret Hat w/ Decorative Feather Bird

Hat is in between a structured beret / pillbox hat with a slightly domed top with curved, feather detail on one side with plastic rhinestones as eyes. Feather detailing looks like a bird with a long tail. Made out of velvet by Beatrice Martin NY for luxury department store, Holt Renfrew. Based on the tags, I estimate it to be from the 50s / 60s. Dark Purple w/ Navy Blue feather trim - velvet can look navy under certain lighting, but it reflects a dark purple colour Oval shape, sits on top of head, measures approx 9 x 9 x 2.5"; interior circumference is approx 20". GUC, great for Halloween, goth, a pin-up look, funeral, &/or rockabilly, you can even add a veil!
