I'm in love with this jacket, but my torso is much too long for a cropped jacket - and besides, it feels like a museum piece! Brand is Delfini Milano - presumably made in Italy. Style/tailoring details place it around the 1950s. No size tags but would fit a size small.
The shell fabric is wool, as evidenced by the many tiny moth holes (see photos). Lining is a thick satin-silk - no materials tag but that's what it feels like, and its too old for it to be a high-quality synthetic. Lining is entirely hand-sewn to the shell. Buttons and buckles are leather; buttons in lovely condition, straps are peeling on the inside (see photos). Gorgeous bound buttonholes. Bust pockets are not functional. Recently dry cleaned.
Fits a waist of 30-32"; sleeve from pit to cuff measures 18"; length from nape to hem is 31".

hi there, absolutely adore this! do you have the measurements for across the shoulders and sleeve length? thank you!
dipfef
@smnaklicki so across back (along that seam) is 16", from collar seam to shoulder seam is 6", and across shoulders is 18-1/4". across-shoulders was trickier but I'm pretty confident in that number. inside sleeve length (pit to cuff, along seam) is 18"; outside (shoulder to cuff) is 25".

@dipfef thank you very much, I appreciate it! will compare with a similar jacket that fits 😊

Hi, could you let me know what the bust measurement is? It's lovely, just want to make sure it would fit!
dipfef
@perfectsymmetry For sure - the flat lay from pit to pit is 19". I would suggest allowing at least 4" of ease, so a 34" bust is probably ideal. (It's pictured on a dress form set to 34" bust, for reference.)
