Vintage 50s/60s German Round Vanity Travel Case

This round vintage vanity/travel case was made in Germany in the 50s or 60s and has what feels like a cardboard or light wood base with a faux leather (or "leatherette") cover. The case is small and has a black exterior with a brown stripe accent down the center. There is a small black handle at the top, and a double zipper. The zipper tabs are marked "Made in Germany" on one side, and "TRIX" on the other, which helps narrow the possible date of manufacture. To give you an idea of size, the case fits in both my hands put together. The interior has a dark blue fabric lining with an elastic pocket on the inside of the lid (though the elastic has stretched somewhat). The bottom of the case features a padded velvety insert that can be flipped over or removed altogether. The piece has vintage wear throughout, like wear, marking, and tone loss in the black "leatherette", and the stretch pocket elastic inside. Please take a look at the photos, keeping in mind that this case has lived a full life. Still, the handle is functional and both zippers work without issue.
