Vintage 52, rue Bichat Black Wool Skirt

This vintage skirt by 52, rue Bichat has a 100% wool exterior and a 100% acetate interior. The skirt has a zipper and button closure on the left side, pleating up towards the waistband to improve the fit, and also has a slit on one side from around the knee to the bottom (around the ankle). The fit is comfortable and there are no issues that would affect wearability. The 2nd last picture was lightened to show the texture. Although there is a 52, rue Bichat in Paris, the trademark was registered as Canadian. Given that it's vintage, it's very possible that the garment was made in Canada, but I can't confirm that. This piece is marked as a (vintage) size 12 but fits and measures more like a (modern) size 6.
