Vintage 6 pairs 1940-1960s size 10.5 nylon back seam stockings Sheila-Sheer

Sheila-sheer by Regent, Classic pinup garter belt beige dupont nylon yarn Classic retro 51 gauge 15 denier (very sheer) back seam stockings in a beige tone, to be used with a garter belt. They have some stretch (though not as much as modern articles) and a reinforced foot. These may well have been part of a knit-to-fit line of hosiery. They are by Regent in their Sheila-sheer line, a size 10 1/2 and made from dupont nylon in Canada ca 1940´s - 1960´s. Condition: From the 6 pairs, 5 are in great shape and only 1 has a slight little pull mark. The stockings all show wear on the white printed information. It is hard to see why the white information is so worn when each stocking itself (especially on the foot) looks like it´s been unworn. They came to me in a vintage sewing thread box and that´s how you will receive them too. You will receive all 6 pairs. "15 denier 51 or 54 gauge stockings are very sheer and are considered a dressy stocking. These stockings are somewhat fragile and need to be worn with care. 15 deniers won't take the wear and tear that 30 deniers will." Size marked: 10.5 They look best suited to a rather slender leg.
