Vintage 70s Irish Tweed Wrap Skirt

Vintage 1970s Irish Tweed Wrap Skirt with two buttons at the front; Blarney Woollen Mills Pure new wool (lining 100% acetate) Irish Tweed has a rich history from Ireland that dates back centuries. Woollen mills were and still are an important part of Irish culture. Irish Tweed is know for being warm and water resistant high waisted with herringbone tweed pattern in a tan and blue up close; makes a blue/grey as seen in photos When researching this company/skirt, I learned the woollen mill where it was made was closed for a short period between 1973-1975. I believe this skirt was made in the first few years the company reopened between 1975-1980s ⭐Please note: skirt is much too small for me and not done up in photos.
