Vintage 70s Queen of the Bedroom Négligée😉

Vibrant Persian rose colour and beautiful drapey nylon/tricot blend places this lovely piece somewhere in the early to mid 70s … also I know, I lived through that era and my mother had a stunning array of lingerie that earned her the nickname Contessa de la Négligée! I was wearing and styling her cast-offs in a mix of femme-neo punk slightly before the Material Girl made the scene. This gown has suffered a few mishaps in the décolleté area - mainly the center V where the seam has been stressed. But all is well and she has been repaired to the best of my ability. She had also been altered in the shoulders (shortened) but this is entirely reversible. When I purchased her for an indie film wardrobe it had already been done. The body of the gown is next to perfect and hangs perfectly. A sheer border runs the hemline and neckline. Size 38 it has been pinned to fit my womannequin. Fits like an 8
