Vintage 80s Angora Wrap Front Sweater

Scrumptiously soft creamy white quad ribbed sweater from my own vintage collection. Crossover wrap front. Gathered and drapey shoulders. Full gathered sleeves. Ribbed knit cuffs and banding. Retains shape well as it is a well made sweater and good blend of 50% angora rabbit with 30% wool and 20% nylon. Angora is still thick and full because it was well cared for. These knits tend to pill a little and it’s best to carefully pluck the pills as opposed to using an electric pill shaver which will reduce the angora pile. There is distinct discolouration on the original tags from the two times it was dry cleaned - before I learned about handwashing with cashmere shampoo or most recently I’ve started using Angora cream. Less chemicals and gentle on the yarn. A tad discoloration at edges of cuffs also from dry cleaning. Not super noticeable. Other than that she’s in beautiful condition. Not the least scratchy on my sensitive skin. Small or a 34
