Vintage 80s Fashion Crimes fit & flare black & silver lace mini dress, 12, EUC

I purchased this black & silver lace dress sometime around 1983-4 from a bespoke boutique called Fashion Crimes that used to occupy the trendiest spot on Queen West in Toronto. They made all manner of eccentric goth princess club gear, fancy corsets, and the like. There are no labels since Fashion Crimes designed and made their own custom clothing, so this is an extremely limited edition item, of which only a few were ever made. At the time, I was wearing size 10-12; it's not stretchy fabric, but there's still some give, and it hit upper-mid thigh on me (I'm 5'9"). It has a fairly deep scoop neckline in front, if you like to show off cleavage, and a long zipper in the back, which I mostly never used. Looks great with a statement bra & leggings, or a nude slip & stockings with killer heels or a camisole & leather pants. It's certainly a precursor to any number of party outfits from places like Free People, Zara, or wherever. Except when someone asks where you got that cute dress, you can say, "It's hand made vintage, bitches". Measurements taken flat: est. size 10-12 Bust 18" Length from shoulder 32"
