Vintage 80s LV large garment bag

A vintage, iconic LV monogram Louis Vuitton fold-over large garment bag with four outer pockets. Equipped with a metal hanging hook under a flap cover showing a leather signature label. The bag is easily secured with two gold-tone spring latch hooks when folded. Rivets and zipper tabs are marked Louis Vuitton or LV, Made in France. A removable, adjustable shoulder strap has a gold-tone buckle. (One buckle needs repair) The garment bag is made of leather trimmed canvas. Two large gussets, zipper pockets measuring 14.5" x 8.5" are seen on the outer side of the bag. The opposite outer side shows two large zippered compartments measuring 18" x 15", one behind the other. The interior is lined in a lighter tone logo printed canvas and has an elastic band with a metal closure to keep longer garments in place. There is a tie and belt holder along with a patch pocket on the interior, both riveted and leather trimmed. The bag measures 44" L when open - 22" L x 21.5" W with a side measurement of 3.5" when folded. The garment bag is in excellent vintage condition and minimal light wear aside from shoulder strap needing to be reattached
