Vintage 80s Laura Ashley Velvet and Taffeta Iridescent Belted Bow Gown

Absolutely gorgeous Laura Ashley dress circa 1980s. Velvet bodice with long sleeve and ornate gold button at cuffs. V-back. Wide rounded neckline. Skirt part is is a purple and black striped taffeta that has an iridescent sheen. Removable wide sash belt with large bow. Bodice is lined. Fabric is non-stretch. Size US 12. See approx from flat especially since vintage sizing can be different: 17.5” pit to pit 50” length shoulder to bottom 15” across waist area 25” outer sleeve length In excellent condition overall. There is a small straight tear in the lower skirt part of the dress, almost as if the fabric was cut in a straight line. It is not noticeable when wearing as the fabric has structure and is gathered at the waist causing the tear to stay closed. Should be an easy repair for a seamstress.
