Vintage 80s ST JOHN Turquoise Knit Dress S/M

The most adorable knit dress! From the charming puff shoulders to the shiny SJ buttons, this dress has so many sweet little details. The colour is incredible. Inside of the shoulder is the perfect little internal support to hold the shoulder up! Of course, there are lined pockets. There's no content tag, but St John's knits were typically made of a wool and rayon blend at this time. Vintage, good rehabbed condition. This poor dress had a lot of holes. Now she doesn't. Most of the repairs are invisible from the outside (just don't wear it inside out!) however, a few of the holes were too big to go totally unnoticed. I would totally wear this and not be fussed, but if you are averse to any imperfections, this one might not be for you. The main spots to look for are on the front at the right side waist, the right shoulder, and near the hem of the skirt. The colour seems ever so slightly faded along the edge of the sleeves, where it had been folded. It's so subtle, I can't always see it. Depends on the light, perhaps. So, long story short, this is a gorgeous dress that has been brought back to life, not without a few scars, but you can see that it's a beautiful vintage designer piece.
