Vintage 80s Shetland Wool Blend Knit Sweater

Knit using Shetland wool blend chunky yarn - 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool. Gauge: 4 inches = 15 stitches on 10 needles. So it’s very bulky and chunky! Care: Machine wash, flat dry, do not bleach/iron/dry clean. Measurements: - P2P 27” stretches to 33” - Length 32-33” Can be worn as a sweater dress! Shetland wool can feel a little itchy since it’s knit from a thick yarn and is not as fine as merino/cashmere but the Acrylic blend makes the itchiness minimal. However, on the plus side, since the wool yarn is thick, it’s VERY warm. Probably warmer than a lot of jackets in your closet. So a thin cotton turtleneck underneath should be more than sufficient if you’re sensitive to wool. NOTE: There is visible pilling since the wool is thick but a simple wool shaver should do the trick!
