This vintage brown corduroy skirt embodies a key trend of the 90s: the asymmetric wrap miniskirt. By French designer Emanuel Ungaro, who trained with Balenciaga in the 1950s. Simple and elegant staple piece for French Girl Fashion™️. A beautiful deep brown colour with a slight olive undertone. Brown is a hot colour for fall/winter 2023, but this skirt can easily gain permanent rotation in your closet as a neutral basic. The rich corduroy is of a decent weight and won't fly open when you move. Rayon blend gives it a slight lustrous sheen. Skirt fastens closed with five buttons. Seams and buttons are high quality and made to last with care.
Condition: Corduroy is overall in very good condition for its age. Minimally worn. Some slight depressions at right side of waistband due to past history with a hanger (not in my closet, this was always hung by the ribbon loops). Buttons are firmly attached.
Measurements:
Waist: 14.5" lying flat, across the top
Length: 17.25"
Please note: first four photos are for style inspiration only (from Staud, Asos, Simons and Cupshe, respectively). They do not depict the skirt for sale here.
