Vintage 925 Vermeil Flat Snake Chain Necklace

This vintage necklace is made of sterling silver and has a vermeil finish on one side. The chain link used is flat and very tightly linked, but has great, fluid movement. The necklace can be worn as either a gold tone or silver tone necklace. The clasp is an old-style lobster claw closure that is stamped 925 on the tiny piece closing the opening. The necklace is also stamped on the metal bit at the end of the chain (on both ends) and says GM and 925 Italy. I have not been able to identify the maker. I'm not sure if the half gold/half silver tone is intentional, but it increases your accessorizing options. The necklace has some wear from time and use but is in good condition overall.
