Vintage Abalone Shell Lucite Acrylic Trivet by Shellart Hot Plate Pad Souvenir

This listing is for a funky Lucite or acrylic and abalone shell trivet that was sold as a Yellowstone National Park souvenir in the 1960s. The background is a glittery copper chip with large pieces of abalone shell on top, all embedded in a clear acrylic. "Yellowstone Nat'l Park" is embedded just above the shell layer. The bottom has three rubber feet and the original sticker that says: "SHELLART Modern Plastics Combined with Abalone Shell Gathered by Divers from the Pacific Ocean Hyler Enterprises USA" This hot pad is about 5 1/2 inches across. It is in good used condition with scratching/scuffing across the top surface that is visible in light glare. Please see all of the photos.
